How does it work?

The Film Haze simply screws onto the front of your lens like any standard camera filter. Once attached, it diffuses highlights and blooms light sources to create a dreamy, film-inspired glow

The Film Haze uses specially engineered optics to soften highlights and bloom light sources, creating the dreamy glow and nostalgic look often associated with film photography—directly in camera.

Will it fit on my camera? / What size should I get?

The Film Haze Pro is available in 82mm with adapters sizing options going down from 82mm to 77mm and 82mm to 67mm. Simply select the filter size that matches the thread diameter of your lens (e.g. 82mm, 77mm, 67mm). If you're unsure, check the front of your lens or lens cap for the size marking.

Does it work with flash?

Absolutely. This is where Film Haze really shines. When paired with on-camera or off-camera flash, it creates beautiful halation and glow around highlights for a true film-inspired look — without harsh edges or blown skin tones.

Does work in low light?

Yes. Film Haze enhances ambient light and softens contrast, making low-light images feel warmer and more cinematic. They’re perfect for receptions, night shoots, indoor lighting, and moody scenes where you want softness without losing emotion.

From Bailee Merry:

"I’ve used thin nylon over my lens since the beginning of my photography career to create that soft, hazy, vintage look digital cameras don’t naturally produce. But it was never perfect—fragile, inconsistent, and almost impossible to recreate the same effect in different lighting.

After two years of testing sample after sample, I’m so proud to finally bring you the Film Haze Proa durable, consistent, and professional way to achieve the dreamy glow I’ve loved for years."
